Is it worth hitting the roof?

Yesterday as usual Pranav had his own lazy morning pace of getting up which drives me crazy andhit the roof. Finally after all kinds of shouts and screams, he is ready and off to school ON TIME! Meanwhile a bunch of instructions  was given to the help at home , not to give in to his whims and fancies ,once he is  back from school.

All this was normal routine, until the afternoon when Biju called me at work. Strange, I thought, when Biju told Pranav was unwell. Then to know that he has injured his eye. Oh  my God, that really left my stomach in a knot, and could not wait to hear further. Praise God, he was okay and nothing to worry.

On my way back home, was wondering how much less it means to be totally a mute disciplined lamb as against being safe and healthy. All the strict measures  to be followed with him that afternoon  had vanished with this one incident. Funny. Best part being Pranav had a long weekend to enjoy…..

Nothing new, but such reminders are vital to count the blessings.  Hope this  reminder lingers on for a long time………………
